THE PLUGGED IN CONCERT

We are an indie folk band from Phoenix, Arizona. We met last year at Sunnyslope High School. One day Nikolas Stevens turned to Austin Nicole Leon and said, "hey, let's start a band." A few weeks later they performed at the Sunnyslope Battle of the Bands and took third place with only a few weeks of practice. Fast forward a couple of months into summer and another opportunity to join youth bands from across Metropolitan Phoenix to audition for the right to play at the “Plugged In” youth rock concert! Again, Nick and Austin teamed up with only a rehearsal at the venue the day of and they pulled it off! Nine bands have been chosen who will perform at the “Plugged In” youth rock concert at the Chandler Center for the Arts on Friday, August 22nd at 6:300pm. After two auditions at the Hard Rock Cafe and Alice Cooperstown, the nine bands were elected by an elite panel of judges from the local music scene. The bands performing are: Cast In Ashes, Central Divide, Fallback, Hamartia, Headstrum, Injury Reserve, Stone Heart Cowboys, Vintage Wednesday and Wrath.
